Who we are
The DevHub International is a software development agency based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
The data we collect
We collect personal data in two ways:
- Enquiry form. When you contact us we collect your name, email address and message, and — if you choose to provide them — your company name, phone number, the service you are interested in and an indicative budget range.
- Analytics. Only after you give consent through our cookie banner. No analytics run by default, and declining changes nothing about how the site works.
We do not collect special category data, and we ask you not to include any in your message.
Lawful bases for processing
- Legitimate interest — responding to your enquiry and keeping a record of our correspondence.
- Consent — analytics, which only run after you accept them. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract — where your enquiry leads to a project, we process the data needed to prepare and perform that contract.
What we do — and don’t do — with your data
We use your data to answer your enquiry, scope potential work and maintain a record of our conversations. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for 24 months from the date of your last contact, then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as accounting and legal obligations require.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Supabase — database hosting for enquiries, hosted in the EU/UK region.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Resend — transactional email notifications, only when enabled.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data rectified;
- have your data erased;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
How to exercise them
Email us at contact@thedevhubint.co.uk with your request. We will respond within one calendar month. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be flagged on this page.
